This live activity is designed to inform Colorado healthcare professionals regarding telehealth technology, identifying settings in which the technology is useful, how best to implement for mental health treatment and determining whether telehealth is superior, equal or inferior to conventional practice based on setting, technology and patient population.  Specific topics include key telehealth policy issues for the state of Colorado, applications and remote mental health technology, XR simulations, AI in practice, and videoconferencing issues.

Outcome Objectives

1. Apply telemental health best practices in the clinical integration of telehealth services as applicable.

2. Recognize how to implement telemental health in a way that promote equitable access to care.

3. Utilize telemedicine technologies to provide mental healthcare services to a range of patients mixing different technologies and platforms.

4. Differentiate strengths and limitations to applying telemental health in various clinical scenarios.
