Integrated healthcare system (MCO), Medical specialty service aggregator, Medical specialty service provider to healthcare providers
Corporate Structure:
Private for-profit
Description of Services:
Synapticure is a teleneurology group that provides much-needed care to patients with neurogenerative diseases, i.e. ALS, PLS, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, etc. The group is made up of board-certified neurologists, genetic counselors, and care coordinators that deliver patient-centric care and guidance to individuals living with life-alternating neurological diseases. We collaborate with the patient's in-person clinics and doctors so that the best possible care plan can be administered. The care team provides referrals to local or in-home services (e.g., mental health, in-home PT/OT, etc.), help with navigating insurance programs, and much more, including prescription management, discussion about nutraceuticals, off-label medications, and clinical trial matching. Synapticure provides telehealth services that increase access to specialists, lowers patient financial burdens, and eliminate geographic barriers that otherwise burden appointment attendance. We help to eliminate long-term direct and indirect costs associated with the delayed and ineffective interventions that currently plague the healthcare system.
