Nod Specialists is a telemedicine specialist provider group focusing on bringing medical specialties like Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Endocrinology, and Behavioral Health to rural community hospitals, skilled nursing, and long term care facilities. We are dedicated to improving patient care by allowing fast, easy access to care through telemedicine. Our collaborating with medical directors, primary care providers and other specialists, as well as with facility staff, provides cost-effective care and quality patient outcomes. With access to specialists, facilities reduce their transfers and return-to-acute rates for high patient satisfaction and decreased cost of care. Our providers also follow the patient as they are discharged or transferred.

Nod integrates with Athena Health and PointClickCare (launching Q4 2020). For practices and facilities that use those EHR systems, the providers chart directly into Nod during a virtual visit. Our special design allows a fast and fluid virtual visit that allows charting without being distracted. The notes and orders get pushed directly to the facility or practice EHR system when the provider completes her notes.
