We actively source licensed physicians and advanced practice providers through state medical boards, national databases, and professional networks such as Doximity, Indeed, and LinkedIn Healthcare. Each applicant undergoes a rigorous credentialing process that includes verification of education, state licensure, DEA registration, board certification, and relevant telemedicine experience. We prioritize providers with demonstrated competence in addiction medicine, primary care, behavioral health, and weight management, as well as those with a strong record of patient communication and ethical practice. Candidates complete structured interviews assessing clinical judgment, cultural sensitivity, and familiarity with virtual care protocols and HIPAA-compliant technology. Before onboarding, all providers undergo background checks and must complete DevotedDOC’s internal telehealth orientation, which covers our electronic health record (EHR) systems, documentation standards, telecommunication security, and patient privacy requirements. Only providers who meet our high standards for professionalism, compassion, and regulatory compliance are approved to deliver care on our platform, ensuring consistent, safe, and evidence-based virtual treatment across all states we serve.
