CDI develops systems for use in clinical neurophysiological services in acute care hospitals. These systems are designed to place an information loop around a patient and the surgeon to reduce morbidity during complex operations having the potential to damage the nervous system. The technology utilizes electronics to acquire signals in real-time from the nervous system, computationally process this data and make it available across the internet for real-time interpretation by a neurologist. Real-time communication facilities are also provided for communication to the operating room. Our technology was the first technology cleared by the FDA for use of the internet to move information. In addition, the company provided clinical services using our equipment to hospitals which not have the expertise to staff this type of service.
