Describe how your teleproviders are recruited and selected:
Each physician, psychologist, and other provider is interviewed and screened individually. They also complete a comprehensive background summary on their education, training, and work history. Physicians must have completed a residency program and be board certified for consideration. Those who are selected continue on to a second-round interview process prior to being credentialed. Physicians are credentialed using NCQA standards and approved by Doctor On Demand's Credentialing Committee for initial appointment. They are also registered with the National Practitioner Data Bank for continuous query and reappointed using NCQA standards every three years. Every provider must review and complete mock video cases, cultural training, video training and the review of the practice's protocols prior to being approved to see patients. In addition, they must complete a case-based training simulation.
